Wild Fire - Jesus sends out the 12 into the villages. They are putting themselves at the mercy of others’ peace, hospitality, and Shalom-welcome. You and are sent into the world as well. We are looking for welcome - people who desire mercy and compassion over all the other religious junk. When you find Shalom in others, you have found someone to enter into covenant, someone you can reside with, someone who gets “God” even if they don’t have the name, language, or theological definitions for the divine yet. You and I go proclaiming good news looking for more workers to reap the harvest. We are looking for hubs of hope, healing, peace, and grace in the world! Scripture: Matthew 9:35-10:23
